Ai NAGAYOSHI

Born in Chofu City, Tokyo, Japan. All family members are AB type, 147cm tall, energetic piano-playing singer-songwriter. (Almost the same height as her own piano.) Graduated from Miyazaki Gakuen High School Music Department and Minami Kyushu Junior College English Communication Course.

From the age of 14 to 20, she studied under Matsuko Mawatari, who was in charge of the OP of the anime “YuYu Hakusho”, and in 2012 she began her musical career in Miyazaki Prefecture.

In 2012, she participated in the “Let’s sing together! Let’s Meet Your Dreams Contest” and won the Excellence Award. Aimed to become a professional singer-songwriter after appearing in a Miyazaki Bank commercial. In 2013, she passed an audition to join Ongaku Juku Voice, which she attended until September 2017. In 2017, she started broadcasting her own show “Ai Nagayoshi and music” on Miyazaki Sunshine FM every Wednesday.

Her original song “Ippo”, which she arranged for chorus, has been sung at regular concerts, recitals, and graduation ceremonies of many schools and groups.

In November 2019, she passed the audition for the role of Anne Shirley in the opera “Anne of Green Gables” organized by the Opera Association of Japan. In August 2021, she performed the role of Anne Shirley in the opera “Anne of Green Gables” at the National Cultural Festival, and the performance was a great success in front of 1,059 people.
