- Lithuanian choral & instrumental music
- World choral, vocal & instrumental music by young composers, as well as experienced composers
- World choral & instrumental music that are now difficult to obtain
Where the Name Comes From
The name itself sounds strange in Lithuanian, meaning “sweet / lovely harmony”. Actually the phrase was taken from a poem “When Thou commandest me to sing”, written by an Indian poet, Rabindranath Tagore, where it reads;
All that is harsh and dissonant in my life Melts into one sweet harmony And my adoration spreads wings Like a glad bird on its flight Across the sea.
The founder hopes that the power of music truly influence people in a noble way, promoting harmony among people even though the present world is harsh and dissonant place to live.
